The Town of Rogersville Water Department consists of five (5) divisions: Office, Water Treatment, Wastewater, Maintenance and Administration

The department is governed by a six (6) member commission which meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm.

The department serves approximately 4,000 water customers, 2 sister utilities, 2500 sewer customers, over a 50 square mile area, and is staffed by 29 employees. Employees are certified in each aspect of their employment and provide the best service possible.

F.A.Q.

Your water meter is read sometime during the 2nd week of the month. It is read using AMR (Automatic Meter Reading) technology. Each water meter is equipped with a radio transmitter that transmits the reading on the dial every 6 to 8 seconds.
Our meter reading truck is equipped with a radio receiver that accepts the transmitted information and is taken back to the main office for processing.

Visit our Office – Monday through Friday between 8:00AM – 4:00PM.
Drop Box – Open 24 hrs. Located on the south side of the office building next to the drive-through window.
Mail – We suggest that you mail your payment at least 5 business days before the due date.

Pay by Phone – Call 423-272-2540. You can pay with a Debit Card or Credit Card of your choice. Your account number or service address will be helpful.

You will need to come to our office during normal business hours.
You will need to pay your previous balance, current balance, and disconnect fee.
If you do not have a deposit on file, you will need to pay that as well.
